About Lineage
Lineage provides sell-side advisory for owners of therapy, psychiatry, ABA and IOP practices with $300k to $5M in revenue. We value the practice, find the right buyer and protect what you built. Lineage is an Arche Studios company.
Who we work with
Owner-clinicians planning an exit, retirement or partnership in the next one to three years:
- Therapy: group and specialty therapy practices
- Psychiatry: outpatient psychiatry practices planning a sale or succession
- ABA: ABA companies where payer mix, clinician retention and documentation shape buyer interest
- IOP and PHP: intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs where licenses, accreditation and contracts matter
- SLP: speech-language pathology practices looking for a confidential path to market
Why we focus on behavioral health
Small behavioral health practices are too small for investment banks and often misunderstood by generalist brokers. Payer mix, clinician retention, licensure and owner dependence drive value, and buyers know it.
How an engagement works
- Valuation: a confidential review of your financials, payer mix and team. It starts with a free estimate, an indicative range shared on a call.
- Preparation: we help reduce owner dependence and clean up the books before going to market.
- Buyer process: we approach strategic groups, investors and individual buyers, compare offers on total value and negotiate terms with you.
Most sales take six to twelve months. The step-by-step guide to selling a therapy practice covers each stage.
